Merritt James Gant, celebrated as Overkill's lead guitarist during their golden era (1990-1995), brings a wealth of experience and passion to guitar instruction. His lifelong dedication to the instrument, ignited at age seven, has shaped him into a versatile musician and skilled teacher.
Beyond his stage presence, Gant is a renowned luthier and former Rowan College South Jersey faculty member. As the owner of Merritt's Music Service LLC, he shares his expertise, combining traditional guitar techniques with modern teaching methods.
